I may have been a little too ambitious thinking I am going to post every day this month! I am actually working on a new online course at the moment and that is taking up a lot of my time and energy. So we’ll see how it goes, I do enjoy the prompts and writing more again…
Here are five (very random) things about me:
Whenever someone writes about ADHD traits I feel seen and find myself nodding along a lot. Yet every online test I’ve done says I am not and I think that’s probably correct.
When we looked at the house that we ended up buying this summer I had a ‘vision’: I was in the yard, holding a vegetable I had pulled out of the ground, looking fit and healthy, with a big smile on my face. This was interesting because I’ve never been a gardener, I lived in apartments most of my life and barely kept my balcony plants alive. It was a strong vision and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
I play Wordle and Spelling Bee every night and exchange results via WhatsApp with my 19-year old nephew in Germany. We started this when they visited us last summer and we’ve kept it up.
I have always loved astrology and the Enneagram but it is the accuracy of my Human Design chart (I’m a 3/5 Projector) that has blown my mind. It’s like a stranger explained my life to me in great detail, which is eerie, fascinating and liberating all at once.
In 2000 I learned just enough HTML to create my first ever website (which looks super outdated now), an online diary where I chronicled every month of my single years in the UK from 2000-2004. Kinda like an early blog version of Bridget Jones. It’s fun to go back and read what I’ve been up to in those years and sometimes I wish I had kept it up, what an amazing archive that would be.
Five things about me
It is perfectly fine to not feel guilty about the 'posting writing every day' thing!
I had to check out Human Design - you've mentioned this before, I think. Thank you for reminding me that I wanted to look into that.
I love your 5 things and especially relate to the mind blowing magic that is Human Design. It’s incredible how our lives can be explained by our chart and I’m curious about how it then influences our choices and becomes a greater self-fulfilling prophecy!
